World Trade Day Features Robots, New Tech

GLENDALE, Colo. (CBS4)- A robot used to monitor dangerous situations debuted at World Trade Day on Thursday.

The event was hosted by Infinity Park. It teaches businesses like Gamma Two Robotics how to market their products internationally.

The robot is made in Denver. It is designed with a security camera so it can monitor buildings around the clock. It's also mobile.

"The other thing we are getting asked for is using it in an active shooter situation when you don't want a human damaged," said Gamma Two Robotics spokeswoman Louise Gunderson.

The robot can also detect radioactivity and carbon monoxide.

The company expects to start selling the product internationally in October.
