It's Time To Make Reservations For Denver Restaurant Week

DENVER (CBS4) - It's time to get the napkins and forks ready because Denver Restaurant Week is just a few weeks away.

CBS4 Critic at Large Greg Moody says now is the time to start making reservations.

"This is one of my favorite times of the year. Not only do I get to go out and do stories on great restaurants, but I also get to see some of my favorite people -- like the chefs who regularly knock my socks off," Moody said.

One of those chefs spoke with Moody on Wednesday. Elise Wiggins, head chef at Panzano, said Restaurant Week "gives guests a glimpse of what we do." She said it's a "screaming deal."

"Most of the restaurants really showcase something special that attracts the guests, brings them in," she said. "It sets the hook and then they come back. So it's a huge benefit for all the restaurants."

"Most restaurants also do specials on drinks and wine," she said. "It's the best time of the year to dine out and check out all of those restaurants you've been wanting to check out."
