30,000 Buy Boxed Bull Poop In Black Friday Prank

DETROIT (WWJ) - It was an unpleasant surprise for about 30,000 people who shopped online on Black Friday.

As it turns, out the "limited-edition box of bull****" being sold by game-maker Cards Against Humanity was indeed just that.

St. Clair Shores native Michael West received his in the mail Tuesday.

"I have a friend who is a big fan of the card game and she has all the different little rare packs they'd made for it, so I thought I'd get it as a Christmas gift," he told WWJ's Sandra McNeill.

West admits he didn't read the fine print before purchasing the item for $6.

"Until we saw the first un-boxing on YouTube we didn't really think for sure that it really was what they were saying it was," West said.

When he found out the gift he'd ordered actually was a box of bull excrement, he wasn't angry — getting a kick out of the whole thing.

However, he isn't planning to open the box, which came with a little pin, too (see photo).

"Umm, I'm probably still going to give it to the person that I originally bought it for, just as a little gag gift now," said West. "I think she'll think it's funny."

Time.com reports that, while writing on the package indicates the box was made in China  —"It's the same manufacturer that does packaging for Apple!" game co-creator Max Temkin told Time — the poop was made in the USA.

Temkin said the company isn't a fan of Black Friday — hence the poop prank.

The boxed BS sold out in less than two hours.
