Second Suspect Arrested In Murder Of Chester Rite Aid Manager

By Dray Clark, Mike Dougherty, Kim Glovas

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A woman who police say had a role in the shooting death of a Rite Aid manager in Chester, Delaware County has been arrested.

Authorities say 23-year-old Rita Pultro of Philadelphia was taken into custody Sunday in the 1300 block of Harrison Street in the Frankford section of Philadelphia.

She had been wanted in connection to the murder of 40-year-old Jason McClay Thursday night at the Rite Aid store at 9th and Highland Streets in Chester.

Pultro is charged with first, second and third degree murder, attempted robbery and related crimes.

Her accomplice, 24-year-old David Wiggins, was arrested Saturday in South Philadelphia. He is facing first, second and third degree murder charges.

Chester police say finger prints from the crime scene were used to identify Wiggins.

Authorities in Chester had offered a $20,000 reward for information leading to the woman's arrest, but there was no initial word on whether that played a role in helping police track her down.
