Strip Club In Queens Offering Jeter, Yankees Free Lap Dances On Sept. 7

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- From city to city, Derek Jeter has been getting parting gifts in honor of his final season in the big leagues.

The iconic Yankees shortstop is going out like former teammate Mariano Rivera did the year prior, receiving tributes wherever he plays.

But it's not just fellow clubs and Commissioner Bud Selig who are sending the captain off in style.

On September 7 -- the day that the 14-time All-Star is to be honored by the Yankees in the Bronx -- a strip club is offering to provide Jeter and his teammates free lap dances, according to The Huffington Post.

The Show Palace -- located in Long Island City -- said that all Yankees employees will receive free admission in addition to two lap dances, the website reported.

Oh, and the nude dancers will be painted in pinstripes.

It's unlikely that the 40-year-old -- was has maintained a clean-cut image ever since he broke in the majors in 1995 -- will take the Show Palace up on its offer.

But if he does, he will receive extra treatment.

A representative from the club told The Huffington Post that he "gets unlimited lap dances and food and a lifetime free-entry pass to Show Palace as a thank you for his years of service as a New York Yankee."

The strip club also told the website that patrons, too, will receive free admission on Sept. 7 if they are donning No. 2 jerseys.

So there's that.

Entering Tuesday's action, the future Hall of Famer is batting .272 with two homers and 27 RBIs.
