Man Dies While In Police Custody In Coconut Creek

COCONUT CREEK (CBSMiami) -- A 39-year-old man died early Wednesday after an encounter with Coconut Creek police.
The department kept the death a secret, refusing to put out a press release that a man had died.
When contacted by reporters, the city claimed everything associated with the incident was "confidential."
CBS4 News was only able to learn the man's name from the medical examiner's office who identified him as Calvon Andre Reid.
A source briefed on the incident said the man died after being tasered by as many as four Coconut Creek police officers at the Wyndmoor Condo complex.
