'Supernatural' Star Jared Padalecki Promotes Depression Awareness With Awesome 'Always Keep Fighting' Shirt

In case you needed one more reason to love Jared Padalecki. The heartthrob of The CW's long-running hit "Supernatural" is lending his story and star power to a cause that impacts millions. Depression is a topic that hits close to home for Padalecki and the slogan of the shirt is a response to a tragic loss in his circle of friends.

According to the description posted on represent.com Padalecki writes, "On New Years Eve, my dear friend lost his battle with depression. This, unfortunately, wasn't the first time i lost a personal friend to suicide, and it hurt me deeply ..."

In under 24 hours the campaign has sold more than 6000 units blowing past the 1000 unit goal to start printing.

Proceeds from sales will go to "To Write Love On Her Arms" (TWLOHA), a non-profit which aims to help those struggling with addiction, depression, self-injury and thoughts of suicide.

In related news, Padalecki finally started using Facebook -- posting a related thank you video on the social media site.
