White Sox Hire Vince Coleman As Baserunning Instructor

(CBS) -- The Chicago White Sox have announced the addition of Vince Coleman as the team's new baserunning instructor.

The 52-year-old former player served as an outfield and baserunning coach from 2013-14. He also served as a minor league instructor for the Cubs in 2004-05.

Coleman played for 13 seasons and ranks sixth all time in stolen bases with 752. He played from 1985 to 1997 with St. Louis, the New York Mets, Kansas City, Seattle, Cincinnati and Detroit.
