Former 49ers Coach Jim Harbaugh Reportedly Met With Supreme Court Justices

(CBS SF) – Jim Harbaugh recently made a visit to the highest court in the land, another stop in what has proven to be a busy off-season for the former coach of the San Francisco 49ers.

The Wall Street Journal reported that Harbaugh, who is now coach at the University of Michigan, visited the U.S. Supreme Court and met with five justices in April. According to the Journal, Harbaugh shook hands with Justice Anthony Kennedy and snapped a picture with Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Harbaugh's tour of the court also included visits with Justice Elena Kagan, Justice Clarence Thomas and Chief Justice John Roberts.

Keeping busy may be an understatement for Harbaugh as he prepares for his first season coaching the Wolverines. In early March, Harbaugh aided two people who were injured in a car crash in Ann Arbor, near the university.

Also in March, Harbaugh was the first base coach during an A's Spring Training game.

In May, the coach was hanging out with first lady Michelle Obama.

Last month, the coach and his wife were in Paris on vacation.

Harbaugh's trip to the Supreme Court took place two years after visiting another famous court. A self-admitted fanatic of Judge Judy, the coach met the television judge and appeared on her show in 2013.
