Officials In Montgomery County Searching For Suspected Murderer

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Officials in Montgomery County are searching for a man wanted for a murder that happened on Thursday.

Police are searching for 52-year-old Stanley W. Laing (aka "Peter Laing"), who is charged with the domestic-related homicide of Indra Sheets, 49.

Laing reportedly shot Sheets twice inside a home on Sunnybrook Avenue in Cheltenham Township on March 5th. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Laing is described as a black male who is about 6'0" tall with a muscular build. He has short gray hair and a full beard and was last seen wearing a red plaid jacket, pants and black boots. He fled the scene in a white vehicle.

Laing was reportedly armed with a semi-automatic pistol and should be considered armed and dangerous.
