(CBS) -- A young girl has been shot in Chicago's Englewood neighborhood in an attack that has also injured a male teen.

Police responded to reports of a shooting 8 p.m. Friday in the 7000 block of South Justine. In a vehicle, they found the girl, with a gunshot wound to the head; scanner reports indicated she is four years old. She was transported to Comer's Children Hospital in critical condition, Chicago police said.

Also injured was a 17-year-old male, who was shot in the neck. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious condition.

Community activist Andrew Holmes said he and St. Sabina pastor Michael Pfleger are offering a $6,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the shooter or shooters.
