Teen Dies Ten Days after Altgeld Gardens Shooting
(STMW) -- A 15-year-old boy who was shot in the head Dec. 16 on the Far South Side died Friday night.
Tyler Ellis, 15, was shot in the Altgeld Gardens neighborhood about 7:50 p.m. in the 600 block of East 133rd Street, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner's office.
He was taken to Comer Children's Hospital in critical condition, police said. He died at the hospital Friday night at 9:33 p.m., the medical examiner's office said.
His home address was not was immediately known.
