Police say a third person was also wounded in the shooting. The 15-year-old girl was standing on the street during the shooting and she was found with a gunshot wound to the forehead. She is in stable condition.

Since Friday night Jacele's family members have gathered at the hospital. We're told her mother has been by her side all day and does not want to leave for any reason.

Also visiting the family Saturday were anti-violence community activists, including Ron Holt whose lost his son to gun violence back in 2007.

"I just spoke with both parents, mom and dad are there for Jalece," Holt said. "Jalece is still with us and they have been praying and they are a strong family unit. They are holding on to hope and prayers that Jalece will pull through this horrible incident that she has unfortunately has had to experience in Chicago."

Police could not confirm if anyone is in custody in connection with the shootings. It is not known what led up to the violence.

Community activist Andrew Holmes said he and St. Sabina pastor Michael Pfleger are offering a $6,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the shooter or shooters.
