Xochimilco is known for its huge portions and is located in the Mexicantown area of Detroit. Armando's, also located in Mexicantown, is known for being the place to party on Cinco de Mayo. In 2013, the restaurant had a patio party with $6 margaritas, and it serves unlimited chips and salsa all day every day - it's also known for its hot/spicy salsa. Armando's has a lunch buffet, but if you come for dinner, order the fajitas - they're served sizzling hot with Spanish rice, beans, sour cream, guacamole and pica de gallo. The restaurant has an array of Mexican beer as well, such as Carta Blanca, Corona, Dos Equis, Modelo Especial and more.

Taqueria El Rey may be small, but it makes up for it with the taste and quality of its food. The restaurant definitely has a unique choice of meats for your tacos: you can choose from your traditional pork, steak or chicken, as well as fried pork, Mexican sausage, beef, fried tripe, steam beef head, fried pork stomach or steam beef tongue.
