24 Cuban Migrants Land Safely In Elliot Key

ELLIOT KEY (CBSMiami) -- Two dozen migrants from Cuba have safely made the journey across the open waters and onto U.S. soil.
The U.S. Coast Guard discovered the group of 24 people Saturday morning, June 11th, on Elliot Key.
The migrants were transferred for processing by the coast guard crew and are expected to be allowed to stay under the wet-foot, dry-foot policy.
