As a resident of Philadelphia, heading to a bar located in a hotel might not be at the top of your list. However, there are plenty of hotels in Philly with great bars that are welcoming to both guests and residents.  Whether you're a life-long resident or just briefly visiting the city, make sure you head to one of these hotel bars.

10 Arts Lounge is located in the sophisticated Ritz Carlton, and here, you'll be able to enjoy the elegant lobby and columns that are a main feature of the hotel, which used to be a grand bank. Guests can sleep, eat and drink in style, especially at the 10 Arts Lounge, where small bites and specialty crafted cocktails are the norm.  Come in during happy hour for $4 beers, $7 house wines and $7 appetizers.

Bank & Bourbon

Philadelphia, PA 19107

Bank & Bourbon is located in the lobby of the Loews Philadelphia Hotel and is popular for its own barrel-aging program. This program is the only one of its kind in the city. Bank & Bourbon also invites people to age their own barrel through its locker membership program. If you'd rather drink bourbon without the work, this is still the right place. With more than 75 types of bourbon, rye and whiskey, as well as a good selection of wine and beer, finding something to satisfy your palate will not be difficult. Try a bourbon-based cocktail while enjoying a small snack, like steak tartare or parsnip pancakes.
