Hooray! The Bay Lights Are Back On

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- The Bay Lights are back on the Oakland-San Francisco Bay Bridge.

The world's largest LED light sculpture by artist Leo Villareal went dark last March. He was on hand for the countdown Saturday night during the Super Bowl City opening night festivities.

The organization Illuminate the Arts spearheaded the multimillion dollar project.

Now, this enormous dusk-to-dawn light show will shine at least until 2026 thanks to a crowdsourcing campaign and support from the State of California.
