Outpouring Of Support For Two Fallen Deputies

ABINGDON, Md. (WJZ)--The outpouring of support continues for two deputies killed in the line of duty in Harford County this week.

Amy Yensi has more on how a community is coming together.

Harford County wraps its arms around the families and comrades of veteran deputies Patrick Dailey and Mark Logsdon.

"We can't honor them enough and with everything that's going on these days it's really gratifying to know there's a lot of good people out there," said Bernadette Zgorski.

From flags at half-staff to signs that echo the sentiment of many, thoughts and prayers of a community are with the fallen deputies.

"It's wonderful to see how our community cares and that everybody is pulling together to pay tribute to two men who are just doing their jobs," said Erin Kaminaris.

People across the county are standing behind the fall and deputies and officers everywhere who risk their lives day in and day out.

What started as a few stems near the scene of the killings blooms into a symbol of hope and a reason to come together.

Funeral arrangements have been set for both Dailey and Logsdon for next week.
