There are a lot of great things about Nate ‘n Al Delicatessen, and if you've been there then you already know. The reuben is the way to go when looking for a meaty sandwich — stacked high, choose between corned beef, pastrami or turkey. Top it with melted Swiss cheese, Russian dressing and sauerkraut, and one bite will have you as a fan of Nate ‘n Al's. The steak fries are perfect and highly recommended. A valley favorite, Brent's Delicatessen & Restaurant in Northridge is a the best not-so-secret place on that side of the hill. Like all stellar delis Brent's makes a mean pastrami and corned beef sandwich, but there are quite a few other menu items that shouldn't be missed. Stop in for breakfast and they'll make you an omelette ( with tons of add-ins to choose from) you'll never forget. Brent's also makes a mean Philly chees steak with tender mushroom and onions on a French roll. Thick cut fries and coleslaw are the perfect sides.
