Bartram's Garden is a 45-acre National Historic Landmark on the Schuylkill River and is a place to learn, discover and explore. It is home to a community boathouse on the Tidal Schuylkill River (the lower section of the river). Take your group here on a Saturday and enjoy free public boating (from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.) by rowboat or kayak. Stand Up Philly also offers paddleboard rentals and tours during the summer. Before or after you hit the water, make sure you tour the garden and home of the Bartram's for a real historical experience and pack a meal to enjoy a nice picnic in the park.
