"You guys step up every single year," said Philadelphia Fraternal Order of Police President John McNesby on Thursday. "Just think of this, when the Wing Bowl took place this year Robert Wilson was alive. He was a Philadelphia police officer going to work every day, today he is not."

$1,000 of the $8,500 check will go directly to the family of fallen hero, Officer Robert Wilson III. The remaining $7,500 will help families of fallen officers.

"We here, we talk about sports all day and these guys are heroes---they hit a home run, they run for a touchdown," Cataldi said. "Compared to what that man did, these are not heroes. That man risked his life and gave his life, to save civilian lives."

Wing Bowl proceeds help SportsRadio 94WIP donate to multiple charities every year. 94WIP is proud to announce that the FOP Survivor's Fund is one of the many charities that benefit from the proceeds.
