Patrol: Head-On Crash In S. MN Kills 4, Including 11-Year-Old

LE SUEUR COUNTY, Minn. (WCCO) -- A Friday night head-on collision just outside of Montgomery, Minn., killed four people, including an 11-year-old, according to the state patrol. Montgomery is 50 miles southwest of the Twin Cities.

Authorities said Jeffery Miller, 22, of Le Center, was driving east on County Road 26/Lexington Road around 10 p.m. Friday when his car collided head on with a westbound traveling vehicle. Miller's 24-year-old passenger Travis Reak, of Le Center, was killed. But 24-year-old Mark Miller, of Le Center, survived with non-life-threatening injuries.

Both individuals in the other car died -- 51-year-old driver Condon Hulgan, of Montgomery, and 11-year-old passenger Mary Urtuzuastegui, of Montogmery.

Montgomery Fire, North Ambulance, North Aircare and Mayo Aircare assisted.
