Play.It Launches New Partnership With Spotify

NEW YORK (CBS New York) -- CBS Radio's Play.It is part of an exciting new partnership with Spotify.

Play.It will now be featuring select podcasts on the music-streaming service.

Wrestling fans will now be able to listen to Taz's "Human Podcast Machine" and Ric Flair's "Wooooo! Nation on Spotify. Sports nuts can get fired up listening to "Brown and Troupe" and "Deadcast." And news junkies can get their fix with "CBS Local News Headlines."

"We're bringing you a deeper, richer, more immersive Spotify experience," Daniel Ek, Founder and CEO at Spotify, says in a press release. "We want Spotify to help soundtrack your life by offering an even wider world of entertainment with an awesome mix of the best music, podcasts and video delivered to you throughout your day. And we're just getting started."

The announcement took place today at SIR Stage 37 in New York.
