Man Dressed As 'Mr. Incredible' Accused Of Punching Taxi Driver, Dodging Fare

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are investigating after they say a man dressed in a "Mr. Incredible" costume punched a taxi cab driver in the face and fled without paying fare.

Authorities say on Halloween a 62-year-old taxi cab driver picked up a male and a female, both dressed in "Incredibles" costumes, at Front and Spring Garden Streets.

The victim drove the couple to the 5800 block of Ridge Avenue, where police say they went into the 7-Eleven to make a purchase.

Authorities say once they exited the store, they walked away from the taxi driver without paying their fare.

When the driver said he was calling police, authorities say the male dressed in costume punched the victim in the face and fled.

The victim was taken to Roxborough Hospital and treated for a laceration to his face.

Authorities want to speak with the unknown female regarding the alleged incident.

Police describe the male as a white male, early-to-mid 20s, 5'8"-5'9", dark hair, stocky build, wearing a red "Incredibles" costume.
