Pumpkin chocolate chip, red velvet, bacon maple pancake and snickerdoodle are just a few of the premium-ingredient artisan cupcakes handmade by Gretchen Fantini, the owner, baker and driver of Sweet Box Cupcake. Gretchen started out selling her cupcakes at the Piazza at Schmidt's, and after seeing how much customers loved them, she decided to give up her career in the legal field and founded the Sweet Box Cupcake Truck in 2011. The truck is used for catering and special events such as the many festivals throughout the city. Occasionally, the truck can be spotted vending on the streets of Philadelphia. Check the Twitter or Facebook page for updates. In 2013, Sweet Box Cupcake opened a storefront, Sweet Box Shop, so you can now place orders for pick-up, delivery and all of your catering needs.

Chefs Michael Sultan and Carolyn Nguyen are bringing global street food to Philadelphia, all made from scratch and served out of their chrome-plated restaurant on wheels. At first glance, the food might sound simple with options like cheesesteaks, burgers and fries. But it's all made with unique touches. Enjoy brisket cheesesteak tacos, local dry-aged burgers with Cooper American and aioli sauce and hand-cut fries available with sea salt or truffle and parmesan. The menu changes daily, with the fries being just about the only constant, but some favorite offerings include the fried shrimp po'boy, curry chicken banh mi sandwich and smoked pork burrito.
