Some Denver Stores Closing Early On Super Bowl Sunday

DENVER (CBS4)- As Broncos fever sweeps the nation and Colorado, some stores in the Denver metro area are closing early on Super Bowl Sunday in anticipation of the game.

"Love the Broncos, bleed orange and blue," said Broncos fan and Habitat for Humanity ReStore employee Phil Towne. "I'm a lifetime Broncos fan, born and raised here in Denver."

Towne is one of dozens of employees at Habitat for Humanity ReStore who will not be working during the Super Bowl.

"That's huge, very grateful," said Towne.

"We are, we will be closing early, at 2 o'clock," said Habitat for Humanity ReStore employee Brandon.

This move after the Denver-based company decided to close all of its stores early so employees can watch the big game with their friends and family.

"Everyone's excited, you see everyone coming in wearing their Broncos gear," said Brandon.

The store did the same thing the last time the Broncos went to the Super Bowl but this time, everyone is hoping for a better outcome.
