Dingell Learns About Kardashians, Left With More Questions

By Edward Cardenas

SOUTHFIELD (CBS Detroit) - The Dean of the House now knows about the queen of reality television through an apparent errant Tweet.

U.S. Rep. John Dingell, D-Dearborn, responded Tuesday to an apparent auto-generated Tweet from the Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Water that stated "I'm now a C-List celebrity in Kim Kardashian: Hollywood. Come join me and become famous too by playing on iPhone!" according to Talking Points Memo.

The Tweet has been deleted, but led to the response from Dingell, "I'm the last original author of the Clean Water Act, but I have no idea who/what a Kardashian is and I rarely play games. You OK, @EPAwater?"

Later in the day, the Congressman's staff informed him about the reality star -who now has an online game - to which he responded, "Staff has now informed me of what a Kardashian is. I'm only left with more questions."

While Kim Kardashian hasn't responded to the Tweets from D.C., the EPA took the exchange in stride.
