Former Sacramento Star Cameron Oliver Pulls Out Of NBA Draft

RENO, Nev. (AP) - Nevada forward Cameron Oliver has pulled out of the NBA draft and plans to be back with the Wolf Pack for his sophomore season.

The 6-foot-8 Oliver averaged 13.4 points, 9.1 rebounds and 2.6 blocked shots per game as a freshman. His 99 blocks set a Nevada season-record and were the most by a freshman in Mountain West Conference history.

The former Sacramento prep star also led the Mountain West league with 12 double-doubles last season, was a third-team all-league pick and made the all-defensive team. He was named to the post-season all-tournament team before Nevada won its first Collegiate Basketball Invitational title in March.

Nevada coach Eric Musselman said Monday he's excited Oliver will be back. He says the school already has heard from a number of NBA scouts who want to watch him next season.
