Hacking Group Lizard Squad Takes Credit For Taking Xbox Live, PlayStation Network Offline

There are plenty of frustrated gamers this Christmas as hackers are taking credit for players not being able to sign into Xbox Live or the PlayStation Network.

Via Twitter, PlayStation's support said they are still looking into the issues. Xbox also acknowledged problems and said they "are actively working to resolve [the issue]."

A hacking group called Lizard Squad has taken credit for the outages, though their involvement has not been confirmed.
