Poll: Eagles Fans Supporting The Acquisition Of Tim Tebow
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- Maybe it's just that the haters are louder, but contrary to popular belief Philadelphia is all for Tim Tebow wearing midnight green this season.
According to two 94WIP polls, Eagles fans are supporting the reported acquisition of the polarizing Tebow.
On the 94WIP Morning Show Audio Roadshow Poll, 58-percent of fans agree with Chip Kelly's decision to sign Tebow. Furthermore, during the 94WIP Mike & Ike Show 63-percent of fans said they "love" the reported signing.
"I will say this, I'm excited about the signing," Ike Reese, who has admittedly question many of Chip Kelly's offseason moves, said on Monday. "I really am. Let's face it. He's gonna be the third-string quarterback. I have no problem with it, I think he is more of a multifaceted player that Chip Kelly could use somehow in this offense, more so then he would get out of Matt Barkley being his third-string quarterback."
Tebow is expected to officially sign with the Eagles on Monday. Soft Philly Pretzel factory is already selling "Tebowing" pretzels, as Tebow Mania takes over Philadelphia.
