LeSean McCoy Reportedly Assaulted Multiple Off-Duty Philly Police Officers

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- LeSean McCoy reportedly assaulted multiple off-duty Philadelphia police officers on Sunday night, according to a police report obtained by CBSPhilly.com.

McCoy, along with three others including former Pitt University wide receiver Tamarcus Porter and former NFL running back Curtis Brinkley, was allegedly involved in an altercation at Recess -- an Olde City nightclub -- at 2:45 a.m. E.T. Sunday morning.

According to the police report, the dispute was over the purchase of four bottles of champagne with three off-duty Philadelphia police officers -- Darnell Jessie, Roland Butler, and Sergeant Daniel Ayers.

McCoy and Brinkley, along with a fourth individual -- Christoper Henderson -- allegedly assisted Porter who initiated the confrontation with the police officers.

Butler was "punched, kicked, and stomped about his body and head multiple times," the police report says, by Porter, McCoy, Brinkley, and Henderson.

The report also states that Butler suffered a laceration to his right eye, broken nose, broken ribs, and a sprained thumb. Furthermore, Jessie received eight stitches over his left eye and could also have a skull fracture.

At this time, no arrests have been made, but the police report states arrest warrants are being prepared pending a decision from the District Attorney's office.

McCoy's agent says he has "no comment at this time."

McCoy, 27, spent six seasons with the Eagles and is now with the Buffalo Bills. Brinkley, 30, is a Philadelphia native from West Catholic High School who played in the NFL from 2009 to 2013.

The Buffalo Bills have released a statement saying they are "aware of the report" and in the process of "gathering more information."
