The tuber is a big part of the Irish diet, and these restaurants know how to make the best use of it as they bring authentic Irish food to this side of the pond.

It's like stepping into a corner of the emerald isle, but it's on the Miracle Mile in Coral Gables. John Martin's offers an authentic Irish pub, with Irish whiskey and Gaelic beer, but if you have a pint without trying the Irish specialties, well, what's the point? Try the Corned Beef and Cabbage, complete with boiled potatoes. Irish Stew is savory and rich, and made with Guinness. Shepherds Pie will fill your belly, Bangers and Mash will make you think you're in Dublin. Add that to live music, TV sports at the bar, and even a private 'nook' you can request with it's own TV and room for some friends. You can't go just anywhere for a Steak and Mushroom pie, but you can find it at Clark Miami Beach. They styles themselves as an Irish Pub, but the menu is full of dishes which never saw Killarney. But check the menu under pub fare, and you'll find your favorites, including tasty Corned Beef and Cabbage, and a Shepherd's Pie that's a full meal in a crust. Hearty soups add to the stick-to-your-ribs Irish dishes, but the wider menu runs the gamut from fish to heart steaks and chops.
