Cinco De Mayo Freebies In Metro Detroit
DETROIT (CBS Detroit) Who likes tacos? Oh, you do? Then you're in luck because today is Cinco de Mayo and the celebration generally involves tacos and tequila.
And some metro Detroit businesses are putting an extra dash of festivity on the holiday by offering freebies.
- Taco Bell is giving out free breakfast biscuits from 7 to 11 a.m. at select locations to celebrate what it's calling "breakfast defector day."
- Starbucks is offering half off the price of Frappuccino blended drinks for Frappuccino Happy Hour from 3-5 p.m. This deal runs through May 10. And it looks like metro Detroit weather's will finally be conducive to icy blended goodness.
- If you're having folks over for a bash, Baja Fresh will throw in free chips, guacamole and churros with any catering order of $100 of more.
