Wildwood is a little further down the Expressway but their boardwalk makes it worth the trip. And a water park makes the trip essential in order to beat the heat in late July. More than a dozen water attractions will keep families busy for the entire day. Be sure to check out the newer Flow House where people can surf or body board without having to wait for the perfect swell.

After the zoo, a tour of the Cape May Brewery is a good idea. Head to their tasting room to grab a Cape May IPA or maybe try the Devil's Reach, a Belgian golden ale.
What's a trip to the Jersey shore without soaking in some sun on the beach? When it comes to the Jersey beaches everyone has their favorite but if you're looking to bask and cool off in the ocean for free head to Wildwood. Most of the other beaches require you to purchase a beach tag which can add up if you've brought the whole family along. And you might even see CBS 3's Vittoria Woodill while you're there!
