Insane Clown Posse Show Cancelled Over Faygo Concerns

LANSING (CBS Detroit) It's rock and roll with a big burst of rock and rye, but organizers of one venue weren't having Insane Clown Posse's Faygo antics, so a recent show was canceled.

ICP apparently sprays 600 to 800 bottles of Michigan's sweetest soda at shows and decided to cancel rather than submit to demands from The Loft in Lansing to keep it clean. After a big mess following their Friday show, when soda reportedly seeped through the floor and into a neighboring business, The Loft declined hosting the follow-up show on Saturday unless the soda bit was canceled.

The band stuck with their Faygo.

The band announced the cancellation on their website, writing:

"Hey ninjas. Sigh... tonight's scheduled ICP show at The Loft has been cancelled due to the venue's concerns about Faygo. Last night's sold out show was off the (f***) chain, but the venue--which had never hosted an ICP show-- wasn't exactly prepared to deal with cleaning up 1200 liters of Faygo. So this morning they said ICP could perform the Riddle Box Show as scheduled...but only if there was no Faygo! Well...as every Juggalo knows, it ain't a (f***) Wicked Clown show without Faygo!

Refunds were processed, according the band.
Fans, known as "Juggalos," were outraged, reacting with dozens of angry comments to the band's announcement on Facebook.

"How the (F***) could ANY venue in (f***) Michigan out of all places not know about the faygo showers?! That is... just silly. Sux and is disappointing af fam, but for those who's 1st show it was going to be, know that an ICP show is not really an ICP show w/o faygo," fan Nick Spivey wrote.

Others wrote succintly "F that venue."

Elizabeth Robinson wrote: "The loft was prepared for the faygo I was there great concert ....the worker had carpet tape down and plastic tape up ....juggalos got to feeling themselves and started ripping the plastic down and breaking the pole it was attached to ...they had an idea what was going to happen but (weren't) fully aware what happen when the fam get together and feels the carnival sprit!!! It was a blast!!!!"
