Viewing Held For Former PSPCA Director Of Human Law Enforcement George Bengal

FEASTERVILLE, Pa. (CBS) -- Family and friends gathered on Thursday night to say goodbye to a man who has become regarded as animal's best friend. A viewing was held to honor animal rights activist George Bengal.

People gathered to pay their respects to Bengal at the Kirk and Nice Funeral Home in Feasterville.

Bengal's funeral is set to take place at the Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia on Friday at 11:00 a.m.

Bengal was the PSPCA's Director of Humane Law Enforcement.

Last month, he was honored by the organization after revealing he had terminal cancer. He passed away on Saturday.

Bengal was 69-years-old.
