Kathleen Kane Says Her Future Is Brighter Than Her Past
NORRISTOWN, Pa. (CBS) -- Convicted felon Kathleen Kane was in her Scranton office on her final day as Pennsylvania Attorney General.
Kathleen Kane's voice shook on Wednesday as she addressed her uncertain future.
"You know we're going to move on," Kane said. "I want people to know I'm okay, the boys are okay. We're strong and we appreciate their support."
"I can't wait to be with my kids for the rest of the summer," she said. "I'm looking forward to that, the weeds in my yard are five-feet high, I'm looking forward to taking them down."
Kane wouldn't address the verdict, but said it was an honor to be the state attorney general, calling it one of the greatest experiences of her life.
