Frequently attracting people of all ages, some of the best restaurants and bars the city has to offered are located here. If you're planning a night out on the town, this area has plenty of places to go.

Down the street from the Continental, at 19th and Chestnut, Drinker's Rittenhouse attracts a crowd on weekend nights. The kitchen is opened until 1 a.m., so this is the perfect place for a late-night snack. Its menu consists of bar food, like nachos, tacos and pierogies, and the bar serves cheap beer ($3.50 Yuengling, $3 Coors).

Franklin Mortgage's cocktail are some of the best in the city, made with precision and a lot of ingredients.
