Additional staff members were brought in to set up barricades in anticipation of long lines, CBS2's Ali Bauman reported.

"I was concerned there would be a lot more traffic coming through, I didn't want to wait in a long line, so I left [work] a little bit early," one woman said. "But everyone's been great. There were already lines set up downstairs to kind of help with traffic, and it's been really easy."

Some riders told Bauman they are hesitant to get back on the train.

"It's going to take more time, and I'm feeling sad and frightened," one man said.

"I'm actually going to be taking the bus I think for the month of October, just to stay clear of all that," a woman said.

Commuters were encouraged to contact their bus carriers before heading to the bus terminal.
