Broncos Sanders Catches Career Milestone

DENVER (CBS4) - Broncos wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders reached the 5,000-yard receiving mark.

Sanders needed just 18 yards going into the team's Monday night game against the Houston Texans.

He reached the milestone in the second quarter when he grabbed a 22-yard pass from quarterback Trevor Siemian.

Sanders finished the game with 4 catches for 86 yards, with a long of 31.

Since he played four seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers before coming to Denver, Sanders is just 16th on the Broncos-all time receiving list with 2,996 yards.

As a Broncos player, Rod Smith (11,389) has the most receiving yards.

Jerry Rice (22,895) is the NFL's all-time receiving yards leader.
