Philadelphia City Lawyer Identified In Anti-Trump Graffiti Surveillance Video
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A Philadelphia city lawyer has been identified as one of two suspects caught on surveillance video vandalizing a grocery store in Chestnut Hill last week with anti-Donald Trump graffiti.
Craig Straw, the first deputy city solicitor, confirmed in a statement to CBS 3 that Duncan Lloyd, an assistant city solicitor, was one of the two men seen in the surveillance video.
Straw said that Lloyd is cooperating with Philadelphia Police.

"To my knowledge, Mr. Lloyd has already contacted the Philadelphia Police and is cooperating with them," Straw said. "We will decide on a course of action once we obtain more information about the investigation. We do not condone this type of behavior from our employees."
Lloyd was one of two men caught on surveillance video vandalizing the Fresh Market on the 8200 block of Germantown Avenue around 12:10 a.m. on Nov. 25.
Video shows one of the suspects spray-painting "F*** Trump" on the building, while the second suspect appears to take pictures or video of the anti-Trump sentiment.
Joe DeFelice, the chairman of the Philadelphia Republican Party, said in a statement that Lloyd should be fired.
"The assistant city solicitor in question had ostensibly taken the law into his own hands, since a democratic election didn't yield his preferred outcome," DeFelice said in a statement.
DeFelice continued, "The taxpayers should be entrusting exactly none of our faith into this man. He should be fired from our city's law department immediately."
Authorities estimate the value of damages to be $3,000 and $10,000 due to the composition of the stone used during the construction.
