Former DA, High-Powered Attorney File Lawsuit To Remove Seth Williams From Office

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Two legal heavy hitters in Philadelphia have filed a lawsuit, seeking to have District Attorney Seth Williams removed from office.

Former DA Lynne Abraham and attorney Richard Sprague filed that lawsuit Monday in Common Pleas Court.

On Friday, Williams voluntarily suspended his law license, but said he plans to stay in office.

Last month, Williams was indicted on charges of bribery and extortion.
