Aaron Hernandez Found Not Guilty Of 2012 Double-Murder

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A jury acquitted former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez on Friday for a double-murder in 2012. The deliberations lasted almost 37 hours over six days.

Hernandez, 27, was accused of fatally shooting Daniel de Abreu and Safiro Furtado in Boston on July 16th, 2012.

Hernandez is already serving a life sentence for killing semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd in 2013, who was dating the sister of Hernandez's fiancee.
