Philly Honors Late Flyers Owner With 'Ed Snider Way'

PHILADELPHIA (CBS)--A special honor for former Flyers owner the late Ed Snider.

A section of 11th street from Pattison Avenue to Terminal Avenue in South Philly has been renamed "Ed Snider Way."

The signs are already up, but the official dedication is not until Thursday afternoon.

Snider founded the Flyers and owned the team for 50 years before he passed last year.
