Authorities: Off-Duty Officer Killed In Crash In Mercer County

MERCER COUNTY, N.J. (CBS)—Police in New Jersey are investigating after they say an off-duty officer was killed in an accident on Monday.

It happened around 4 p.m. in the 2700 block of Nottingham Way, in Hamilton Township.

Authorities tell CBS 3 that a two-vehicle crash claimed the life of an off-duty officer.

The identity of the officer has not yet been released.

No other injuries have been reported.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation
