New Jersey Marine Among 16 Killed In Military Plane Crash

COLTS NECK, N.J. (CBS) -- A Marine from New Jersey was among 16 killed in a military plane crash in Mississippi.

Dan Baldassare, 20, of Colts Neck, was killed Monday when the KC-130 military plane he was on crashed in rural Mississippi.

"The Freeholders mourn US Marine Dan Baldassare of Colts Neck, killed in the military plane crash. We are forever grateful for his service," the Monmouth County government tweeted.

Baldassare graduated from Colts Neck High School in 2015.
