Boston Police Release Video Connected To Shooting Of Army Vet
BOSTON (CBS) - Boston Police have just released surveillance video connected to the death of 22-year-old Army veteran Stephen Perez.
Detectives want to know who the four people are seen running down the ramp of a parking garage.
Investigators believe they may have a connection to Lynn, Massachusetts.
Mayor Tom Menino says Boston Police have a big clue in the murder. "We know we have a license plate. We know who it is, and we're going to get him."

Menino says the city will add patrols to the city's troubled Theater District. He's also pushing for bars to stagger their closing times.
Sources tell WBZ that Perez and his friends were trying to leave the parking garage at 290 Tremont Street when another vehicle blocked their path. Perez then got into a fight and while he was defending himself, someone shot him in the back.
"They're thugs. They took a gun out of his car and shot this young kid. He just came back from giving us the opportunity to have freedom in America. We're not going to tolerate that," says Menino.
Homicide detectives continue to seek assistance from individuals who were in the area of Tremont Street and Stuart Street on the evening of April 27th into the early morning hours of April 28th specifically between the hours of 10:00pm- 2:00am. Detectives are seeking to obtain witness photos or video possibly taken in the area which may include background images.
