Sarah Brown hosts tonight Cringe reading series tonight at Freddy's Bar in Brooklyn. Listen as storytellers share their teenage diaries, poems, abandoned rock operas, and other representations of the crushing misery of humiliating adolescence. Have a few drinks and reminisce about your own childhood, or at least laugh at someone else's. Event starts at 7 p.m.

Straighten your bowtie and dust off your dancing shoes because the first-ever Bicyclists' Ball is being held tonight at Roulette. Come dressed in your biking best and take advantage of the unlimited beer and wine at the bar. There will be live music from Ikebe Shakedown, a silent auction, and, of course, a party packed with passionate people fighting for new networks of bike lanes and safer streets across the city. The party begins at 7 p.m.

Take part in one of four free workouts tonight in the meatpacking district. Starting at 5:30 p.m., you can try The Total60, an interval training workout to improve aerobic and anaerobic capacities by improving the strength of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems. At 6:15 p.m., try a 40-minute boot camp class, which is packed with cardio and strength exercises using just your body. Krav Maga Academy offers a self defense and close combat class starting at 7 p.m. or wind down from you day with a yoga class from exhale spa beginning at 7:45 p.m. Don't forget to bring a towel!

The show follows Jack Whelan, a former LAPD cop whose idyllic life is shattered when his wife Amy (Sorvino) vanishes. As he searches for Amy, he's drawn into a chilling world of paranormal conspiracy, murder, and a missing child who may not be so innocent. Musicians and producers were asked to create an original score to accompany the June and David Walentas Fountain in front of the Museum. Tonight, works will be premiered by Collin Simon, Keith Reynolds, Timothy Cramer and Michael Gentile, and many more. The event is free and will take place at 6:30 p.m.
