Kaepernick's Whereabouts Unknown When Miami Police Answered 911 Call

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Police in Miami say they don't believe 49er Quarterback Colin Kaepernick was present when officers responded to reports of an uncooperative naked woman at a downtown hotel room.

According to the Miami Herald, Police Chief Manuel Orsa said his department has not yet confirmed that Kaeprnick was one of three players at the hotel during the alleged incident on April 1st. Officers are reviewing surveillance tape to see if they place the 26-year-old or the two other players were ever in the suite at the Viceroy Hotel.

The woman filed a complaint earlier this month naming Kaepernick, 49ers wideout Quinton Patton and Seattle Seahawks receiver Ricardo Lockette.

The woman reported she passed out after doing shots and bong hits with the men at the hotel on the night of April 1. She told police that before she passed out, she and Kaepernick were kissing in the bedroom. She denies having sex with him, and said he left the room.

The woman told police the other NFL players peeked into the room and she yelled at them to get out. She said she doesn't remember anything else that happened until waking up at a hospital several hours later.

Police still have not confirmed exactly what is being investigated.
