Lynn Youth Hockey Officially Bans Twins After Puck Dispute

LYNN (CBS) - Two boys whose mother alleged abuse by a youth hockey coach have been banned from the league.

Lynn Youth Hockey barred nine-year-old brothers William and Austin Foglietta Thursday .

Last month, their mother, Holly Foglietta, claimed a coach yelled at one of her sons and threw a bag of pucks at the other.

This came after Austin asked for a puck following his 200th goal.

The coach, Bill Norcross, said he was never abusive to any kids on his team, and "was concerned for the other team" when Austin asked for the puck.

The league made the decision after holding separate hearings with the boys and the coach.

The boys' father, Bill Foglietta, told WBZ NewsRadio 1030 Friday that Norcross has also been removed from the league, because it was determined that his certification had expired.

Foglietta said he will appeal his sons' suspensions.
